Kenkichi Tomimoto

Set of four cups and saucers in porcelain. Red enamelled background with gold leaf decor on both cups and saucers. A very unusual feature are the two silver metal bands, holding the metal handle. A superbly delicate set, made by an important Japanese potter, rarely seen in this country. Signed 'Tomi' in Japanese Script
Cups: 10.7 cm diameter, 5cm high
Saucers: 16 cm diameter, 2.7 cm high
